SUBJECT: OIL DRAIN PLUG WITH MAGNET MODEL 201 WITH TRANSMISSION 717.41
Since September/October 1984 production, an oil drain plug with magnet was installed to catch any metal particles in the oil. The drain plug should be cleaned during the first oil change (Inspection, 800-1,000 miles).
NOTE: The oil drain plug with magnet can also be installed in previous transmissions.
