Rear Pillar Trim, Removal/Installation
Removal and installation of rear pillar trimA. Sedan
Removal
1 Press off edge guardstrip in area of rear pillar trim with a plastic wedge.
2 Press the three plastic hooks out of holder from the outside with a plastic wedge.
Note: Do not press off trim from inside, since this could damage the plastic hooks.
3 First unclip trim along top and then pull out forward.
Installation
4 Install in reverse sequence.
B. Coupe
Remove
1 Push sealing strip in the area of the trim panel behind the trim panel by means of a plastic wedge.
2 Pull trim panel front rearwards towards the center of the vehicle and out of the two clips.
3 Lift trim panel rear upwards and out of the rear column and rear quarter panel.
4 Pull trim panel forward and out of the parcel shelf.
Install
5 Installation takes place in reverse order, ensure that the clips are properly seated in the recesses provided at the rear column.
