SUBJECT:
REPLACEMENT OF SAFETY-RELATED HARNESSES


In the event that the wiring harness of any safety-related feature (e.g.: SRS, ABS, etc.) requires repair, the harness is NOT to be repaired by splicing, soldering, etc.

ALL SAFETY-RELATED WIRING HARNESSES ARE TO BE REPLACED.

Warranty claims in which a safety-related wiring harness is repaired (unless specific Work Instructions are issued) will be rejected.
