B. Control Unit









The control unit is located in the center console and Consists of a lefthand and righthand temperature selector (2 and 3), an air flow switch (4) and an air distribution switch (24).

When the temperature selector is turned, a resistance potentiometer is adjusted. Together with the in-car temperature sensor (1) and the temperature sensors (6 and 7) for the heat exchanger, the potentiometer determines the set value for temperature control.

The temperature selectors are fitted with limit switches (MIN and MAX) for heating off or full on, enabling the control system to be bypassed.

The air distribution switch (24) can be turned to the left or right to any position The air distribution is indicated by symbols.

- Air to windshield
- Air to windshield and to front and rear legroom and door ventilation
- Air to front and rear legroom and door ventilation
- Air only out of vents (21 and 22).







Rear compartment ventilation

For the rear passenger area, the swivel vent on the console for unheated fresh air can be additionally opened or closed as required.

Lever to the left = open.
