Cause:
Compressor bracket is installed to engine block with tension. Compressor bracket is warped.





Remedy:
When installing compressor bracket on engine block during engine removal and installation, make sure that bracket fits tension free.

Check bracket for distortion. Bracket should fit on all mounting points on engine block without gap. Check this condition before installation of bracket. Tighten screws in the following sequence:

1. Tighten screws (17, 6 and 5) lightly.

2. Tighten screws (17) in front.

3. Tighten screw (6) and nut (5) laterally on engine.
