Adjusting hood height, front
1. Loosen the lock nuts on the left and right hood stops (arrow).
2. Adjust the hood stops so the lower edge of the closed hood aligns with the upper edge of the turn signal cutout.
Adjusting hood height, rear
1. Remove each inner fender (88-130).
2. Raise the hood to vertical and unhook the hinge springs (1).
3. Close the hood. Be careful since the weight of the hood is no longer countersprung.

4. Loosen both rear hood hinge nuts (4) on each side of the hood.
Note:
Do not loosen the front nut, so the lengthwise adjustment of the hood is not changed.

5. Adjust the hood so the rear upper edge aligns with the upper edge of the fender (arrows). Retighten the nuts at the hood hinges.
6. Raise the hood to vertical and reinstall the hood hinge springs.
7. Close the hood and recheck the height adjustment.
8. Reinstall the inner fenders (88-130).
