B. Adjusting hood side-to-side

1. Loosen the bolts (arrows) on the upper part of each hood latch (5). Each latch should be movable but snug, not loose. Friction should hold it wherever it is set.

2. Close hood.





2. Adjust the hood. Each side gap should be approx. 5 mm (0.2 in.).

Note:
Use feeler gauge 129 589 03 21 00.

Open the hood and retighten bolts on the upper hood latches. Be careful not to let the upper hood latches move out of the adjustment positions.
