Control Module Box, Remove/Install

Dust filter (1)
cover over with special tool 140 589 00 98 00.

Screws (2)
unscrew, screw in.

Cover (3)
remove, install.

Hose (4)
remove, install.

Screws (5)
unscrew, screw in.

Test connector (X11/4)
take off, insert.

Bolts (6 and 7)
unscrew, screw in.

Control module holder (8)
remove, install.

NOTE: Two guide rods can be screwed into the bottom section of the housing to facilitate assembly.

Gasket (9)
check for damage, ensure that gasket (9) is correctly seated when installing.

Holder with cable harness connectors
unclip, clip in.

Cable harness connectors on holder
unclip, clip in.

NOTE: For matching cable harness connectors, Connector Assignment In Module Box Housing

Cable harnesses
pull out of module box housing, insert.

Module box housing
remove, install.

remove.
