Function
The alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1) is connected to the control module (in general the control module including the ATA) via a direct data line. Coded communication is accomplished between the ATA and the siren via this data line.
Activating siren
The alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1) is activated by the commands "Activate, doors closed" or "Activate, doors open" via the data line. In the activated state the siren continuously monitors whether the data or supply lines are still connected.
ATA alarm, panic alarm
The ATA alarm and panic alarm are triggered by the ATA. The signal sequence is actuated by the siren and can be programmed by diagnosis according to national requirements.
NOTE: The panic alarm can also be triggered when the siren is deactivated.
Self-triggered alarm
The activated siren triggers an alarm when the power supply and data lines are interrupted.
Alarm termination
ATA alarm and self-triggered alarm are interrupted by activating or deactivating the ATA.
Acoustic feedback ((NL) only)
The alarm signal siren with additional battery (H3/1) sounds an acoustic alarm (short buzzing three times) when it is successfully activated with the command "Activate, doors closed". This function as well as the loudness of the confirmation can be programmed in the ATA version coding.
NOTE:
- The installed additional battery is charged as long as circuit 15 is ON and the siren is deactivated. The charging state of the battery can be checked with the HHT diagnosis or STAR DIAGNOSIS.
- It is only possible to disconnect the connections to the siren and remove or install the siren in the deactivated state.
