Task
Preventing acceleration jerks

Design/function
If the throttle valve was opened rapidly when accelerating, a leaner mixture is produced for a short time. An additional quantity of fuel is metered to the engine in line with the map. This is achieved by actuating the injectors with additional pulses.

Acceleration enrichment is dependent on:
- Coolant temperature
- Load change speed (accelerator speed)
- Engine speed
- Engine load
- Correction programming with HHT or STAR DIAGNOSIS
