Shift Pressure Shift Valve
LOCATION
- A shift pressure shift valve is part of each shift group. The shift pressure shift valves 1-2/4-5 and 2-3 are installed in the slide housing and the shift pressure shift valve 3-4 is installed in valve housing.
TASK
- To assign the shift pressure (p-S) to the engaging shift element and to assign the overlap pressure (p-U) controlled by the overlap regulating valve to the disengaging shift element.
FUNCTION
- When the multiple-disc brake B1 is engaged operating pressure (p-A) is applied to the end face of the shift pressure shift valve 1 2/4-5 (29a) via the command valve (31a). Its shift condition, retained in the shift phase, with the variable actuator pressure acting on the end face during the shift phase being replaced by a corresponding constant pressure. When the multiple-disc clutch K1 is engaged, the end face of the shift valve is depressurized during the steady-state phase and shift phase, the shift condition is also retained here during the shift phase as a result.
