Test 1: Check component B40/2 (Cylinder shut-off oil pressure sensor).

1. Check component B40/2 (Cylinder shut-off oil pressure sensor).

Test sequence

- Switch off ignition.
- Connect socket box (35-pin) to component N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Connect socket box (126-pin) to component N3/10 (ME-SFI [ME] control unit).
- Measure direct voltage with multimeter between socket (5.5) 5 of the 35-pole socket box tester and socket (3.9) 42 of the 126-pole socket box tester.
- Run engine.
Status of relevant actual value:
- Engine speed:Warning! Communication with ECU required.

- Engine at idle:Voltage[2.2...3.0] V
- Engine speed3000 1/min:Voltage[4.0...5.0] V
