AR54.15-P-1257I Remove/Install Fuse and Relay Box In Engine Compartment at Left Front

Shown On Model 220:

Removal, installation
1 Connect quiescent current retention unit
2 Disconnect ground lead from battery
3 Open engine hood and move to upright position
4 Release and remove cover (1) on left fuse box (F1)
5 Remove left SAM control module (N10/6) with left fuse and relay module (K40/6)
6 Remove suspension control module (N51)

NOTE: Active body control (ABC) or pneumatic suspension control module depending on equipment version

7 Remove traction system control module (N47)
8 Remove pedal assembly cover
9 Remove accelerator pedal
10 Remove floor covering on driver side
11 Release lead to accelerator pedal from vehicle floor and pull back to left fuse box
12 Disconnect all disconnectable wires passing through inside of left fuse box
13 Pull remaining wiring harnesses back to left fuse box
14 Unscrew screws (2) and remove left fuse box

NOTE: Installation: Check seal on wire passage from fuse box/vehicle interior

15 Install in opposite order.
