NOTE: On vehicles with infrared remote central locking as of 01/94 control of the central locking is not possible with the mechanical key from the trunk lid (except (USA) (J)).

NOTE: At the conclusion of the repair work, before checking the operation, disconnect the earth lead at the battery for about 10 seconds in order to neutralize leakage current detection of the supply pump.
