68-150 Removal And Installation Of Cover Below Instrument Panel







Repair note
The cover (4) was modified beginning approx. 04/92 (start of production for E60).
Simultaneously the installation position of the plug connector on the ignition lock was turned upward 180 °.







If the modified cover, part no. 129 680 07 88, is installed on previous vehicles, it must be reworked. For this purpose cut off the shaded area (arrow) with a knife or saw blade.







Use up previous covers, part no. 129 680 27 87, on vehicles on which the plug connector for the ignition lock points downward (arrow).
