Task
The transmission control module (N15/3) determines the instantaneous operating condition of the vehicle and controls all the shift sequences taking into account shift quality and the driving situation.

The transmission control module (N15/3) receives operating data as input signals from various sensors and switches. In addition there is a connection to the engine control module and the control modules of the various chassis systems (e.g. ABS, ASR) via the CAN bus.

The ETC control module (N15/3) actuates the solenoid valves for modulator pressure and shift pressure and gear change. Matched to the torque to be transmitted, the required pressure level is calculated from the load condition, engine speed, vehicle speed, and transmission oil temperature.
