AR68.10-P-1505P Remove/Install Bottom Section of Instrument Panel

Shown On Model 203.0:

1 Remove center console (4)
2 Remove cover of center console (3)
3.1 Remove operating and display unit with control module
3.2 Remove radio with stowage compartment.
4 Remove cover below instrument panel (5) (left)
5 Remove light switch module (S1)
6 Unscrew bolts (6)

See "Special Tools - Torx bit set" given below.

7 Unclip instrument panel bottom section (7) on driver's side with assembly wedge.

See "Special Tools - Assembly wedge" given below.

8 Remove instrument panel bottom section on driver's side (7)

CAUTION: Remove instrument panel bottom section on driver's side (7) until actuation lever for foot-operated parking brake and the EIS control module (N73) are accessible

9 Unscrew lock cover plate from EIS control module (N73)

See "Special Tools - Slotted nut wrench for lock cover plate on ignition switch" given below.

10 Remove EIS control module (N73) from instrument panel bottom section on driver side (7)
11 Unhook release cable for foot-operated parking brake from actuation lever
12 Remove instrument panel bottom section on driver's side (7)
13 Install in reverse order
