GF80.20-P-4009PP Automatic Locking, Function

MODEL 203.0 /2 /7 up to Model Year 8

Function prerequisites:
- Automatic locking in instrument cluster (A1) activated.

Operating procedure
The "Automatic locking" function locks the vehicle centrally, with the exception of the fuel filler flap, as soon as the vehicle speed exceeds approx. 15 km/h .
In this case, the EIS control unit (N73) transmits the "Lock" command to the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B).
The left front door control unit (N69/1) actuates the left front door CL motor (M14/6), the right front door control unit (N69/2) right front door CL motor (M14/5), the left rear door control unit (N69/3) (only model 203.0/2) left rear door CL motor (M14/8) (only model 203.0/2) and the right rear door control unit (N69/4) (only model 203.0/2) right rear door CL motor (M14/9) (only model 203.0/2).
The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) deactivates the trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8).

The vehicle can be unlocked again by opening the driver and passenger door from inside or with the interior central locking switch (N72/1s6) (up to 23.4.04) and the unlock CL interior switch (N72/1s16) (as of 24.4.04).
The vehicle remains also locked at speeds above the threshold. The initial state is reached again when the driver and passenger door are opened or with "Circuit 15 ON/OFF".
