1 Using a suitable screwdriver, pry protection ring (33k) off the connecting flange (33) or rear axle shaft (arrow).

Pressing on

2 Press protective ring (33k) onto rear axle shaft (33) using drift (045).
On rear axle differential dia. 187 mm, 198 mm, 200 mm, 210 mm use drift (045, 140 589 16 15 00).
On rear axle differential dia. 215 mm use drift (045, 211 589 03 15 00).
