GF82.70-P-3000QMM Dialing, Function
- with CODE (813) Voice control sytem (VCS)
- Selection of and dialogue with the audio components

Function requirements:
^ The radio (A2) is activated.
^ The radio and navigation unit (A2/56) with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio is activated.
^ The COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3) with code (527) COMAND APS (with navigation) or with code (530) COMAND APS USA (with navigation) is activated.

Once the voice control system (VCS) is activated via the VCS [SBS] switch (S93/2) the user has several options for making the desired connections with the respective audio system.
The following voice commands are possible for activating the radio component in order to call up the desired audio function:
^ "Radio"
^ "Radio connected"
^ "Radio On"
^ "Switch on radio"

The following voice commands are possible for activating the Compact Disc (CD) component of the radio (A2):
^ "CD"
^ "CD connected"
^ "CD On"
^ "Switch on CD"

The following voice commands are possible for activating the CD component of the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) with code (819) CD changer (6CDs):
^ "CD player"
^ "CD player connected"
^ "CD player On"
^ "Switch on CD player"
^ "CDC"
^ "CDC connected"
^ "CDC On"
^ "Switch on CDC"

If the user is then in dialogue with the desired component of the respective audio system, further commands are available to him for control within the respective audio system.
If the radio component is activated, the following voice commands are available for control purposes:
^ "Station search"
^ "Other station"
^ "Next station"
^ "Search for other stations"
^ "Frequency"
^ "Store stations" (for existing station list)
^ "Choosing a station" (for existing station list)
^ "Listening to station list" (for existing station list)
^ "Listening to stations" (for existing station list)
^ "Deleting station list" (for existing station list)
^ "Delete station"
^ "Traffic information radio channel connected/traffic information radio channel On/traffic information radio channel Off"
^ "FM, "FM", "Long wave", "Medium wave", "Short wave"
^ "Help", "Help, radio"

A personal station list can be applied with the voice commands listed. The procedure is the same as when applying a personal telephone book but with the voice commands listed.
If the CD component of the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) with code (819) CD changer (6CDs) is activated, the following voice commands are available for control purposes:
^ "CD number xx"
^ "Next CD"
^ "Choose next CD/insert next CD"
^ "Other CD"
^ "CD track xx"
^ "CD track number xx"

If the CD component of the CD player with changer (in glove compartment) (A2/6) with code (819) CD changer (6CDs) or the CD component of the radio (A2) is activated, the following voice commands are available for control purposes:
^ "Choose track xx"
^ "Choose track number xx"
^ "Other track/next track"
^ "Search for other tracks
^ "Traffic information radio channel connected/traffic information radio channel On/traffic information radio channel Off"
^ "Help/Help, CD changer/Help, CD player"

A help function is available that supports the user in operating the VCS. If the user is holding a dialogue with, for example, the radio component of the respective audio system and says the voice command "Help", then the VCS reads the most important voice commands aloud. If the user is in dialogue with the CD component, then with the voice command "Help, radio" change the system and in turn the VCS reads the most important voice commands of the radio component aloud to him.
