Preparing wiring harness
1 Disconnect the voltage distributor (CAN) connector (X30/7) from the CD changer voltage supply wiring harness (1) and insulate (is no longer required).
2 Disconnect the wake-up signal connector (X30/8) from the CD changer voltage supply wiring harness (1) and insulate (is no longer required).
3 Remove the brown/red and brown line of the CD changer voltage supply wiring harness (1) from the black, 10-pin coupling for the radio (2), insulate and strap down (no longer required).

- Chamber 2 brown cable







Wiring harness specified status
4 Connect both blue/black lines (bl/sw) from the CD changer voltage supply wiring harness (1) to each other via a voltage distributor (10).







5 Remove the brown/red line (br/rt) and the brown line (br) of the radio series production wiring harness from the black 10-pin coupling for the radio (2).
- Chamber 1 brown/red (br/rt) cable
- Chamber 2 brown (br) cable

The black 10-pin coupling for the radio (2) of the series production wiring harness is no longer required.







6 Install the removed brown/red line (br/rt) and the brown line (br) from the radio series production wiring harness in the black 10-pin coupling for the radio (2) of the CD changer voltage supply wiring harness (1).
- Chamber 1 brown/red line (br/rt)
- Chamber 2 brown line (br)

7 Secure blue/black lines with voltage distributor to the CD changer voltage supply wiring harness (1).







8 Use a knife to cut out the perforation in the glove compartment (see arrow).







9 Route the black 3-pin coupling of the voltage supply wiring harness (1) behind the instrument panel carrier through the breakthrough in the glove compartment.
