GF77.30-P-3001QA Subsequent Soft Top Locking, Function

If the soft top cannot be closed automatically, it is also possible to subsequently lock the soft top manually.
Basic conditions:
^ Soft top actuation hydraulic unit (A7/5) bled (with Allen wrench)
^ Soft top compartment hinges shifted and fasteners pulled through.
^ Trunk lid closed.
^ Head restraints lowered

If the rear head restraints cannot be lowered, the roll bar may be actuated (indicated in instrument cluster (A1)). If the roll bar is actuated, the rear head restraints cannot be lowered and the soft top cannot be opened or closed.It must then be actuated manually.

Close soft top:
^ Pull the soft top compartment cover toward the rear with fasteners until the vertical stop is reached.
^ Extend soft top out of soft top compartment and position on windshield frame.
^ Turn clockwise (against stop) with Allen wrench and then counterclockwise (to stop)
^ Position soft top bow upright and lower soft top compartment cover.
^ Press soft bow down until it catches.
