The indicator lamp and status indicator in the soft top operating button (S84/10) serves as a status indicator and function check for the soft top system. It is actuated by the soft top actuation control module (N52).
It illuminates continuously when the soft top operating button (S84/10) is actuated:
^ During the soft top opening operation from the time the soft top is unlocked until the soft top compartment cover locks.
^ During the soft top closing operation from the time the soft top operating button (S84/10) is actuated until the soft top is locked.
^ During subsequent locking

Continuous illumination when soft top operating button (S84/10) is not actuated:
^ For one second following "C. 15R ON" as function check
^ When soft top actuation control module (N52) is defective or fuse "C. 30" is defective.
^ When soft top or soft top compartment cover is not locked properly.
^ In the event of defect or line discontinuity on the soft top operating button (S84/10).
Flashing light when switch is not actuated:
^ When driving and soft top is not locked properly
