GF91.29-P-4000Q Seat Adjusting Motors Position Measurement Function
- with CODE (275c) Electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and exterior mirrors with memory.
- with CODE (242b) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory.

Function
To measure the position of the seat adjustment there is one Hall sensor for each adjustment motor; they are located at the driver seat adjustment motor group with memory (M27) and the front passenger seat adjustment motor group with memory (M28). The driver-side Hall sensor signals are read in by the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, driver (N32/1), their plausibility is checked, and they are counted in the location counter in order to do the location measurement. The received Hall pulses are either evaluated as positive or negative, depending on the actuation voltage of the motor.

The front passenger-side Hall sensor signals are read in by the front seat adjustment control module with memory and easy entry, front passenger (N32/2).

In case of defective Hall sensors (no pulses with adjustment in both directions), the appropriate motor is cut out after 2 seconds during an adjustment function, which is activated via the switch in the left door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S91/2) or the right door seat adjustment switch group (memory) (S92/2). Cutting in again in the same adjustment direction is not permitted until the switch was released for 2 seconds. A restart in the opposite direction of adjustment is possible right away.
