Fog/Driving Lamp: Service and Repair



AR82.10-P-5103Q Remove/Install Fog Lamp
- except CODE (P98) Black Series







DANGER!
Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury with caustic burns to eyes and skin from battery electrolyte or from handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.


1 Disconnect ground cable of battery
2 Remove cover between wheel arch panel and bumper
3 Unplug couplings at left (E5/1), right (E5/2) fog lamp
4 Remove front engine compartment paneling
5 Unscrew screws (1)
6 Remove left (E5/1), right (E5/2) fog lamp
7 Install in the reverse order
8 Perform basic programming
9 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
10 Adjust fog lamps
