AR33.15-P-0160P Remove/Install Radius Rod at Front Axle
- except CODE (P98) Black Series [model 209]







DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

CAUTION: See notes on self-locking nuts and bolts

1 Raise vehicle.
2 Remove wheel.
3 Unscrew nut (1)
4 Press ball head bolt (2) out of the wheel carrier
5 Unscrew nut of upper wheel carrier (3)
6 Remove bolt (4)
7 Unscrew bolts, lower wheel carrier (5)
8 Unscrew nut (6)
9 Remove link rod (7)
10 Unscrew nut (8)
11 Remove bolt (9)
12 Pry off torque strut (10) with assembly lever out of the front axle carrier (11) and remove
13 Inspect radius rod (10) for visible signs of damage or deformation.
- On crash vehicles, Measure torque strut (10).

14 Check rubber mount (12)

NOTE: If rubber mount is damaged (12), torque strut (10) must be replaced.

15 Install in the reverse order
