The wiper system may only be adjusted if the test values of wiper arms deviate from the tolerance range in parked position

The specified adjustment values are only valid for left-hand drive vehicles. For right-hand drive vehicles, the corresponding sign has to be changed.

1 Install choke angle gauge (A) to driver-side wiper arm (1).
2 Open hood.

3 Loosen bolt (2) and attach pulling hook (3) to the wiper system.
4 Move wiper system with pulling hook (3) horizontally until the correct adjustment value is shown on the dial of the choke angle gauge (A).
5 Tighten bolt (2) and remove pulling hook (3).
6 Close hood and remove choke angle gauge (A) from driver-side wiper arm (1).
