D. Installing the Push-To-Talk (PTT) Lever

1. Remove the plastic plug covering the PTT mounting hole on the right of the steering column by carefully inserting a small flathead screwdriver into the slot and prying it out (Figure 23).





2. Insert the PTT lever into the mounting hole, rotate it until its grooves interlock with the teeth in the mounting hole, and then push the lever completely into the mounting hole (Figure 24).
