DTC D300 in Navigation System

When diagnosing Navigation system complaints, please note that code D300 in the Navigation Module (no speed pulses received from control module N47-5) is not a direct indicator of a navigation system malfunction and no parts should be replaced for this diagnostic trouble code.

Note:
Following ignition OFF, the navigation system still expects to receive CAN wheel speed data. But since the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) switches off faster, this data can no longer be relayed and the navigation system records fault code D300.

Note:
If the wheel speed signal is not being sent, other systems like ESP will have DTCs stored.
