The position of the rocker switch is voltage-coded by resistors. The coded voltage is read in by the left rear door control module (N69/3)/ right rear door control module (N69/4).

The rocker switches have five mechanical positions:

Center position neutral

First catch (up) manual UP
Second catch (up) automatic UP

First catch (down) manual DOWN
Second catch (down) automatic DOWN
