Subscriber sequence after installation (must be complied with):
^ Radio (A2) or COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3)
^ CD player with changer (A2/6)
^ Radio (A2) or COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3)

The data line is established in accordance with the given subscriber sequence.

Component Identification:

1 Insert connector for D2B wiring harness into intended connection on ring component radio (A2) or COMAND operating, display and control unit (A40/3)

Route fiber optic cable along present leads while observing special routing guidelines and fasten with adhesive felt.







2 Route D2B wiring harness (1) to shift gate through opening on noise insulation (arrow) and below ventilation duct.
3 Route D2B wiring harness (1) on right to shift gate along present leads and fasten.







4 Route CD player with changer connector (A2/6) of wiring harness D2B (1) on the center duct to the installation location of the CD player and fix in position.

Wiring harness must be routed below control unit carrier (2) (arrow).

5 Connect connector to CD player with changer (A2/6).
