Component Identification:

Location
The blower regulator is on the right beneath the glove compartment and is directly attached to the blower motor (A32m1).

Task
The blower regulator is connected to the AAC control and operating unit (N22) (without code (581) Comfort automatic air conditioning) or the comfort AAC (C-AAC) control and operating unit (N22/7) (with code (581) comfort automatic air conditioning) in order to exchange data via the local interconnect network (LIN).

The blower regulator controls the voltage supply of the blower motor depending on the AAC control and operating unit or comfort AAC control and operating unit blower setting.
