The AIRmatic central reservoir (42) is attached to the side panel in the luggage compartment under the right-hand paneling.

Task
Stocking up with compressed air for level adjustment. To guarantee fast adjustment times of vehicle level irrespective of the compressor running.

To enable a level control without actuating the AIRmatic compressor unit (A9/1) when the combustion engine is switched off.
