GF32.31-P-5109TX Level adjustment switch component description
- with CODE (489a) Airmatic (semi-active air suspension)

Component Identification:

The level adjustment switch (N72s18) with LED is a part of the lower control panel control unit (N72), in the gearshift lever cover on the center console.

Task
The level adjustment switch can be used to raise the vehicle level. The vehicle is then raised approx. 25 mm ((USA) 20 mm) above the normal level.

In the locked position (vehicle raised) actuation of the level actuators is suppressed by the AIRmatic with ADS control unit (N51).

Function
The level adjustment switch signals are analyzed by the lower control panel control unit. The lower control panel control unit transmits the data via the CAN interior to the central gateway control unit (N93) from where forwarded via the CAN engine compartment to the AIRmatic control unit.

Actuation of the LED in the level adjustment switch (N72s18) is done in the reverse direction.

In the event of automatic speed-dependent lowering of the vehicle the LED in the level adjustment switch extinguishes.

During the raising process the LED in the level adjustment switch flashes on and off.

A lamp test is run when the ignition is switched off and as long as the engine is not running.

After starting the engine the current driver command is displayed.
