Short stroke actuation
When a door is opened (sensed by the door contact switch S17/3, S17/4, S17/5 or S17/6) the window of the corresponding door is lowered to the short stroke position (approx. 4 mm, measured between bottom edge of outer lip and top edge of window) without time delay to facilitate opening or closing the doors. The window remains in the short stroke position until the door is close When the door is closed the window is moved to the upper lock-up position.
Two different counter statuses are required for the short stroke function: Short stroke position 1 for actuating the short stroke function when opening and short stroke position 2 for the position when closing the window. The parameters for the short stroke function are stored in the corresponding door control module (N69/1, N69/2, N69/3 or N69/4).
Opening and closing window in short stroke position
The corresponding window cannot be moved beyond the short stroke position as long as the short stroke is activated.
Limp-home mode for short stroke
On denormalized windows the corresponding window is opened in the short stroke position when the signal "Door open" (sensed by the door contact switch) is recognized. However, the window is not closed with the short stroke function If, after short stroke opening, manual adjustment in the closing direction is accomplished, the window is opened with the short stroke again when the door is opened.
