GF80.61-P-3013T Communication Of Remote Control Key With Vehicle, Function
- with CODE (889) Keyless Go

Component Identification:

Remote control key sensing areas

Outer area
^ The antennas integrated in the left rear door keyless go control module (N69/8) and right rear door keyless go control module (N69/9) generate a field covering areas (A and B).
^ The rear bumper antenna (A2/31) is actuated by the rear module keyless go control module (N102) and covers area C).

The antennas ensure a range of approx. 1.5 m and are actuated with a frequency of 20 kHz

Inner area
^ The keyless go trunk antenna (A2/35) is actuated by the keyless go rear control module (N102) and covers area (D)
^ The antenna integrated into the keyless go passenger compartment control module (N103) generates a field covering the front part of the area (E).
The remaining coverage of the area (E) is performed by areas (A, B, D) with locations reversed.

Communication of remote control key with vehicle, function Function prerequisites:
^ Remote control key in area (A, B, C, D or E)
^ Pulling a door handle
^ Pressing switch on door handle
^ Pulling a handle to open the trunk lid or the rear-end door
^ Pressing the trunk lid keyless go button
^ Actuation of the keyless go start/stop button on the gear selection lever

Operating procedure
The vehicle wakes up the remote control key.
The remote control key determines its position in relation to the vehicle and transmits this information to the keyless go rear control module (N102).
The keyless go rear control module (N102) is checked for a valid remote control key.

The remote control key transmits the access/drive authorization code to the keyless go rear control module (N102).
It relays the information to the EIS control module (N73) via the keyless go bus.
There the codes are checked and authorization granted if applicable.
