In vehicles up to 31.8.06, when the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control is replaced the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control with a four-color pneumatic wiring harness from vehicles as of 1.9.06 is installed.

The following procedure is shown on model 219.







1. Seal off pressure line (3) at overpressure reservoir (1) with
2. Seal off vent line (2) at overpressure reservoir (1) with







3. Connect green pneumatic line (7) instead of pressure line at overpressure reservoir (1).
4. Connect blue pneumatic line (4) instead of vent line at overpressure reservoir (1).
5. Connect red pneumatic line (5) to vehicle-side pneumatic line (6).
6. Position foam rubber pocket (9) of pneumatic wiring harness (8) beneath the overpressure reservoir (1).







7. After installing the pneumatic pump for dynamic seat control, secure pneumatic wiring harness (8) to damping material (11) with cable ties (10).

Route pneumatic wiring harness (8) so that no chafing occurs, do not kink.
