N10/2 Rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module
N10/2f4 Fuse 4 (fuel pump)
N10/2kA Fuel pump relay (plug position A)

The fuel pump relay is located on the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module at the bottom left in the luggage compartment.





Location on model 220
K40/5kT Fuel pump relay (plug position T)

The fuel pump relay is located on the rear fuse and relay module (K40/5) on the left under the rear bench seat.

Task
The fuel pump relay actuates the fuel pump(M3) with a voltage from "circuit 30".

If the relay is actuated by the CDI control unit (N3/9) with a ground signal at "tml. 86", it closes its power contact. With a closed power contact the fuel pump is connected to "tml. 30" via "tml. 87".
