By actuating the lock button on the transmitter key (A8/1) the actuation request is received by the left front IR receiver (A26/1) and is transmitted to the left front door control unit (N69/1). The corresponding door control units then actuate the
^ Right front power window motor (M10/4)
^ Left rear power window motor (M10/5)
^ Right rear power window motor (M10/6)

in the "closing" direction. The convenience closing feature for the power windows is also performed when the windows are not synchronized The power windows are actuated as they are during manual raising. The obstruction protection is active only in the case of normalized windows.

The convenience closing function is aborted if
^ lockup is detected.
^ the request is no longer received via interior CAN..
^ the function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.

On model 211.6 the number of power window motors and door control units in the rear can vary depending on the equipment and special body.
