GF80.20-P-3010QA Open Trunk Lid With Transmitter Key, Function

Function
When the "Trunk lid open" button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed, it transmits a signal to the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) (model 209.4) or window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71) (model 209.3) via radio. This is relayed to the EIS control module via the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the Controller Area Network bus, class B (interior compartment (CAN-B) N73
Parallel to the radio signal, an infrared signal is transmitted to left front IR receiver (A26/1) (model 209.4, model 209.3 Left-hand drive vehicle, model 209.3 Right-hand drive vehicle, except (Japan) up to 31.5.04, model 209.3 Right-hand drive vehicle (Japan) up to 31.8.06) or right front IR receiver (A26/2) (model 209.4, model 209.3 Righthand drive vehicle, model 209.3 Left-hand drive vehicle up to 31.5.04) (precise aiming required).

This signal is read in by the left door control unit (N69/1) or right door control unit (N69/2) and is transmitted to the EIS control module (N73) via the CAN-B bus (CAN-B).
The EIS control unit (N73) checks the access authorization of the transmitter key (A8/1). If the access authorization is valid, the EIS control module (N73) transmits the "Unlocking" command to the CAN-B bus.
The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) actuates the CL motor (S88/4m1) in the trunk lid lock.
The rotary tumbler in the trunk lid lock is unlocked and the trunk lid is opened automatically by the spring force.
