AR54.30-P-6015P Remove/Install Instrument Cluster

Pulling Hocks:

1 Extend steering wheel fully and lower fully

DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

2 Disconnect ground cable of battery
3 Pull out instrument cluster (A1)

CAUTION: Do not damage the dashboard.

NOTE: Installation: Press instrument cluster (A1) in evenly.

See "Special Tools" given below.

4 Release connector (1) and disconnect
5 Install in the reverse order
6 Perform basic programming

NOTE: Only if no quiescent current retention device has been used

7 Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase
8 Check for proper function
