Component Identification:

Detaching
1 Unclip fore/aft adjustment motor connector (M20m1).
2.1 Loosen bolt at clamping nuts (87e) and remove clamping nuts (87e).

Only applies to jacket tubes with clamping nuts (87e).

2.2 Unscrew nuts (87f).

Only applies to jacket tubes with nuts (87f).

3 Remove bolts (87d) with pilot bushings.
4 Remove mounting (87).

Component Identification:

Attaching
5 Fit mounting (87).
6 Guide in bolts (87d) and pilot bushings.

Check pilot bushings and replace if necessary.

7.1 Screw on the clamping nuts (87e) and fit bolt.

Only applies to jacket tubes with clamping nuts (87e).

The smooth surface of the clamping nuts (87e) must face outwards.
7.2 Screw on the nuts (87f).

Only applies to jacket tubes with nuts (87f).

8 Tighten bolts (87d) loosen again, and re-tighten
9.1 Tighten bolt at clamping nuts (87e).

Only applies to jacket tubes with clamping nuts (87e).

9.2 Tighten nuts (87f), slacken at least one half turn and tighten again

Only applies to jacket tubes with nuts (87f).

Screw in short bolts to begin with.
10 Clip in fore/aft adjustment motor connector (M20m1).
