Threads for Front Stabilizer Bar Mounting Bracket Pulled Out of Axle Carrier

If you identify pulled threads on the front axle stabilizer bar mounting bracket, while removing the stabilizer bar, the cause may be due to manufacturing tolerances which were not optimized in the tap/drill process.

To resolve, install a M8x1.25 x 16 mm Heli-Coil insert (follow instructions included with the Heli-Coil 8 mm repair kit) into the front axle carrier and replace the existing bolts so that the specified torque can be achieved when tightening the stabilizer bar mounting bracket. Refer to WIS document number AR32.20-P-0300P for further information.
