GF72.29-P-4005Q Power Window Short Stroke, Function

Function requirements
^ no undervoltage or overvoltage
^ windows normalized

Short stroke actuation
The short stroke function is actuated by the left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4) by transmitting a signal "Door open" or "Door closed" to the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and relayed from there to the CAN class B bus The signal is processed by the
^ left door control module (N69/1),
^ right door control module (N69/2),
^ rear control module (N22/6) (on model 209.3),
^ power soft top control module (N52) (on model 209.4) taken from the CAN class B bus, processed, and the requested short stroke position implemented by the power window motors (M10/3, M10/4, M10/5 and M10/6).

Function
When opening one of the doors, the front side window is lowered to the short stroke position (approx. 4 mm, measured between the bottom edge of the outer sealing lip and the upper wedge of the window) without time delay to facilitate opening and closing of the door
The side window remains in the short stroke position until the door is closed or actuation via the power window switch (S20/1s1, S20/1s2, S20/1s3, S20/1s4, S21/2) is performed.
When the door is opened, the associated rear window is lowered to the short stroke position and closed again completely when the door is closed.

Emergency operation for short stroke

1. Front side window normalized, rear window not normalized
When the door is opened, the side and rear windows are lowered by the defined short stroke path When the door is closed, only the front side window is closed with the short stroke The rear window is not closed with short stroke

2. Front side window not normalized, rear window normalized
When the door is opened, the side and rear windows are lowered by the defined short stroke path. When the door is closed, only the rear window is closed with short stroke. The front side window is not closed with short stroke

3. Front side window not normalized, rear window not normalized
When the door is opened, the side and rear windows are lowered by the defined short stroke path. When the door is closed, the side and rear windows are not closed with short stroke

4. No Hall signals with normalized windows
If the Hall signals received do not change for 0.15 s with the windows normalized and short stroke function activated, activation is rescinded
The short stroke opening function is reactivated after 4 s.If the windows then moved in the opening direction, they are moved to the corresponding short stroke position and the short stroke function is continued according to the function conditions.
This is intended to prevent failure of the short stroke function resulting from actuation of the temperature switch in the power window motor (M10/3, M10/4, M10/5 and M10/6)
If the Hall sensor inputs do not change when actuated a second time, the short stroke function is interrupted. If a new short stroke opening request is present, actuation in the opening direction is performed Locking with the short stroke function is not performed in this case.
