Test 1: Check component B11/15 (PremAir sensor).

- If fault codes 0485 and 2056 occur together, this is a result of engine overheating and the fault memory must be erased.
Test prerequisite

- Run engine at increased speed of approx. 2500 rpm.
- Coolant temperature > 80° C
- Duty cycle of three-disk thermostat> 70 %

- Coolant temperature:Warning! Communication with ECU required.
- Radiator temperature at PremAir sensor:Warning! Communication with ECU required.

- Max. difference between coolant temperature and temperature at PremAir sensor: 10° C

- Check whether the PremAir sensor is firmly latched and bonded to the PremAir radiator.
Note

- When the PremAir sensor is removed, it is irreparably damaged and must be replaced.

- Replace PremAir sensor.
- The PremAir sensor must be installed and bonded in the second hole after being turned 180°.

- When the PremAir sensor is replaced the control unit log must also be sent in for warranty processing.
