GF80.61-P-2009RA Unlock, Function

GF80.61-P-2009RA Unlock, Function
- with CODE (889) Keyless Go

Component Identification:

Function requirements
^ Circuit 15C Off (no transmitter key inserted into EIS control unit)
^ A transmitter key is present in the locating area within approx. 1 m of the Keyless Go antennas

Function sequence when unlocking a door
Reaching into a door handle is recognized by the
- left door capacitive sensor (S47b1) or
- right door capacitive sensor (S48b1) thereby waking up the Keyless Go system (KG)

The Keyless Go control unit wakes up the transmitter key via the left Keyless Go door antenna or right Keyless Go door antenna and causes it to transmit its access authorization code.
This access authorization code is received by the rear Keyless Go antenna and is relayed to the EIS control unit via the Keyless Go control unit.

If the access authorization code is valid, the Keyless Go lift solenoid associated with the check location is actuated by the Keyless Go control unit, because unlocking the corresponding door with the pneumatic control unit would take too much time. Simultaneously, however, the EIS control unit transmits the command "Unlock central locking (CL)" to the PSE control unit unlocking the vehicle globally or selectively, regardless of the setting.
Successful unlocking is signaled by a momentary flashing of all turn signal lamps once.

The left door capacitive sensor and right door capacitive sensor are switched off approx. 72 h after the last component is locked, to save the vehicle battery.
Afterwards it is not possible to unlock the vehicle by simply reaching into a door handle.
For this purpose, actuate left door pull contact microswitch (S47s1) or right door pull contact microswitch (S48s1).

Function sequence when unlocking trunk lid
The trunk lid external operation switch is actuated by pulling the outer trunk lid handle. This is recognized by the PSE control unit which relays an unlocking request to the Keyless Go control un The Keyless Go system (KG) is then woken up.

The Keyless Go control unit wakes up the transmitter key via the left Keyless Go trunk antenna and causes it to transmits its access authorization code.
This access authorization code is received by the rear Keyless Go antenna and is relayed to the EIS control unit via the Keyless Go control unit.

The EIS control unit transmits the command "Unlock trunk lid" to the PSE control unit, unlocking the trunk lid pneumatically.

If the trunk lid on vehicles with code (494) USA version is locked mechanically from outside with the trunk lid lock switch transmission function), the trunk lid is not unlocked by pulling the outer trunk lid handle.
