GF80.61-P-0005RA Keyless Go, Function
- with CODE (889) Keyless Go

The Keyless Go system (KG) allows access to the vehicle and starting the vehicle engine without using the transmitter key (A8/1). It is sufficient to just carry the transmitter key

Unlock

The vehicle can be unlocked by:
^ Reaching into a door handle (signal from left door capacitive sensor (S47b1) or right door capacitive sensor (S48b1))
^ Pulling a door handle (signal from left door pull contact microswitch (S47s1) or right door pull contact microswitch (S48s1))
^ Pulling trunk lid handle (signal from trunk lid external operation switch (S88/8))
When doing this, only the trunk is unlocked

Globally and selectively unlocking

There are two operating modes for the unlocking function:
^ Globally unlocking
^ Selectively unlocking

If the transmitter key is set to "Global unlocking", both doors, the stowage compartments in the interior compartment and the tank cap are unlocked. The trunk lid external operation switch is activated.

If the transmitter key is set to "Selective unlocking" and the request location to unlock is the driver door, the front passenger door and the trunk lid remain locked.

If the request location is the front passenger door, the vehicle is unlocked globally.

Changing unlocking mode setting
The locking procedure can be changed from selective to global and vice versa.
For this purpose, press "Unlock" and "Lock" buttons on transmitter key simultaneously for approx. 5 s.
Reprogramming is acknowledged by the battery indicator lamp flashing two times.
