IV. Noises in rear window stop buffer area

Cause:





Contact pressure of stop buffer (A-Figure 6).

Procedure:

Check alignment of stop buffer (A-Figure 6).

The rear window buffer and lock settings have a reciprocal influence. If the buffer setting is changed, the lock setting must be checked and possible changed, vice versa.

1. Remove/Install Covering.

2. Checking adjustment of rear window on Vario roof, if necessary adjusting. (See WIS-document AR67.20-P-3000-06R).

3. Adjusting lock on C-Pillar. (See WIS-document AR77.50-P-3045R).
