Catch Hook for Instrument Cluster Paneling Broken

On the above model vehicles, the catch hook on the instrument panel may break due to improper or repeated removal and installation of the instrument cluster paneling. To remedy, perform the below procedure.

Note:
Do not replace the instrument cluster paneling.

1. Remove the instrument cluster paneling, refer to WIS document AR68.10-P-3511R.

2. Form catch hook using recommended two component adhesive.





Note:
To do so, form the shape of the catch hook on the instrument paneling using tape (Figure 1, 1) and then pour the mixed two component adhesive (Figure 1, 2) into the mold. Allow to dry as specified.

3. Remove tape (Figure 1, 1).

4. Reinstall instrument cluster paneling, refer to WIS document AR68.10-P-3511R.
