Component Identification:

Function requirements:
^ Circuits 15C, 15R and 15 off
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ All doors are closed (condition: unlocked).
^ No other control module transmits the message "open centrally".
^ Press lock button on remote control key (A8/1) for more than 1 s and hold down
^ Press and hold down the left door push contact (S47s2) with the keyless go transmitter card (A8/2).

Function with remote control key (A8/1)
Irrespective of whether the Vario roof is opened or closed
The RVC control module (N52) receives the CAN message for convenience closing and thereupon actuates the RVC hydraulic unit (A7/5) which closes the Vario roof.

When this process is terminated, the RVC control module N52) actuates the left rear power window motor (M10/5) and the right rear power window motor (M10/6). The left door control module (N69/1) and the right door control module (N69/2) actuate the left front power window motor (M10/3) and the right front power window motor (M10/4).

If the Vario roof is already closed, the side windows are immediately closed with the convenience function.

Function with keyless go transmitter card (A8/2) (code 889) Irrespective of whether the Vario roof is opened or closed
The keyless go transmitter card (A8/2) must be located outside the vehicle and be recognized.
If the left door push contact (S47s2) is pressed and held down, the power windows are actuated by the relevant control modules.

The convenience closing function is interrupted, if:
^ Lockup is recognized
^ The request is no longer received via CAN passenger compartment bus
^ The function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.

The convenience closing feature for the power windows is also performed when the windows are not synchronized
The pinch protection is no longer active in combination with the window convenience closing feature

If the convenience closing function is activated with the remote control key (A8/1), the Vario roof is also opened.

The convenience opening and closing of the Vario roof is not possible with the keyless go transmitter card (A8/2).

The previously opened windows are closed with the convenience function by pressing the recirculated air button of the AAC pushbutton control module (N22) for more than 2 s.
